Local rapper, K.O, hit back at the negative vibes that social media users were aiming at him and his role in the music industry.

He got accused of closing doors on new talent but quickly pointed out that he's helping two new artists on his new album.

K.O, who is known for always supporting his fellow musicians, also told one of the tweeps that no one owes them anything and entitlement won't get them far. #ouch

It all started when K.O said it is time for new superstars - new labels, producers, DJs and artists.

One Twitter user told the rapper he's 'all tweet and no action', to which he responded:

TimesLIVE reports that another person told K.O to stop closing doors.

"Sign us then and stop shutting doors."

Briefly.co.za gathered that K.O's chilly response was:

"No one owes you anything, I've never heard of you for me to be shutting any doors on you. Folks with entitlement issues never get far anyway."
