Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have had a ball in Cape Town on their tour of South Africa.

Briefly.co.za earlier reported that the royal couple have been extra affectionate on their visit.

However, fans with a keen eye were quick to notice that the Duchess of Sussex hasn't been wearing her £140 000 wedding ring.

British publication Hello! reported that Markle preferred to remove the lavish ring in an attempt to stay low key, but that didn't stop South Africans from speculating.

Man's Not Barry Roux  (@AdvBarryRoux) shared the revelation via Twitter on Wednesday following the Duke and Duchess' visit to Monwabisi beach on the outskirts of the notorious Cape Flats.

Briefly.co.za noted that the post went viral and attracted hundreds of comical reactions.
