Protest footage showing motorists being stoned causes a stir online

Yet another service delivery protest took place in Cape Town on Friday morning and this one was particularly volatile.

Protesters placed burning tyres in main roads and attacked innocent bystanders in the process.

Some of the protest was caught on camera and revealed how innocent motorists were being stoned.

One harrowing moment played out as a motorist was being stoned from close range and the path was blocked off, making it extremely challenging to flee.

Keegan Nel shared the below photos and video via Facebook and Briefly.co.za noted the strong reaction from disgusted viewers.

Chanel Fivaz commented, "Jeez Louise ‍♀️ this is so bad. I'm too afraid to step outside. You could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And now that guy must pay for some idiots damages to his car. Bru what are they even achieving other than corruption. Their message conveyed is not better than the corrupt government's so called "law enforcement."
