A woman, Charmaine Waller, gave the entire country the feels on Sunday after posting snaps of her daughter, Hayley Waller, and the lady who helped raise her.
The photos show Hayley and the family's domestic worker dressed in cultural clothing as they posed together.
Waller revealed it was her daughter's way of honouring the woman she fondly refers to as her "second mother."
The post read:
"A few years ago my daughter asked if she could do a photo shoot with the woman who was always there for her when I was at work. A woman who she loved dearly and regarded as her second mother. She wanted to honour her and her culture and all that she meant to her. The pictures are a testament to all that."
South Africans were in awe of the photos and they said it represented the country they all would love to live in.
Vivien Bruwer commented: "This is magical, and exactly how we should honour "honourable" people."
Nancy-Ellen Benecke added: "Stunning! The love shared is evident in these images."
Minza Moo wrote: "This is great. Inspiring. The more we walk in each other’s shoes, the more we will embrace and truly love one another."
Felicity Collocott said: "Thank you for honouring your second mom in such a way for all she has done for you."
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that a woman, Elizma Booysen, detailed the special relationship she has with her "second mother" on the Facebook group #ImStaying - which has given South Africans hope with inspiring stories.
