- Zodwa Wabantu doesn't worry about what people have to say about her
- She was recently accused of 'public prostitution' but clapped back fierce and hard
- The entertainer and dancer said she doesn't judge prostitutes; they are people too
Once again, Zodwa Wabantu got negative attention from the public, and once again she didn't care.
She got accused of 'public prostituting' but told the cynic that they are guilty of 'indoor prostituting' - she's always got a feisty answer, this one.
TimesLIVE reports that she said:
"People can say what they want about me. I don’t know what that word means and I don’t give a f*ck! It doesn’t hurt me and I won't lose sleep over it. It is better to eat with prostitutes than judge them. The same society that judges them are the same ones that pay them in secret."
Zodwa used the opportunity to start a discussion about prostitution. She feels that women who turn to this lifestyle should not be embarrassed.
"It is not something to be ashamed of. It is not an embarrassment. I want to open a discussion about it."
Briefly.co.za gathered that she told of how she met and socialised with prostitutes in Durban a few weeks ago.
"There was a white lady and three black ladies. I stopped the bus and greeted them. I asked them how much they cost. I didn’t interrogate them, I didn’t judge them. They are people too."
She went on to pay them R300, because that's what they charge.
Call her crazy, but Zodwa knows how to get people to talk about her. Recently, she got tongues wagging when she shared snaps of her in a wedding dress. Her fans freaked out, thinking she tied the knot.
Zodwa's so busy living her life, it's not like she really has time for people who want to drag her for doing her thing. She's got her new man and big plans to bring to life - she's not here to please everyone, only herself.
