Hillary Clinton's decision to stay married to former president Bill Clinton, despite his affair, is the gutsiest thing she's ever done in her personal life, according to her.
The former Secretary of State, along with her daughter, Chelsea, made the statement on Tuesday, 1 October while on a show to promote their new book, The Book of Gutsy Women.
Clinton, who twice unsuccessfully ran for president, was responding to a question posed in an interview with ABC's Good Morning America show, where she appeared to promote the book.
"I think the gutsiest thing I have ever done personally, was to make the decision to stay in my marriage," she said.
"Publicly, politically, (running) for president. And keep going. Just get up every day and keep going," Clinton added.
The Senate ultimately acquitted Bill Clinton during an impeachment trial over the scandal, and he finished his term as president.
Clinton has been on the media circuit for a few days promoting the book and has been vocal about the impeachment inquiry into Trump.
She said that she supports Nancy Pelosi’s decision to start an impeachment inquiry.
