Say what: Mzansi Magic decides to cancel 'Isithembiso' - fans react

- It may not have been the most popular show on TV, but Isithembiso had a loyal following

- Now, Mzansi Magic has decided to cancel the show and fans are not happy about it

- After three seasons, the show will come to an end in April 2020

Isithembiso entertained thousands of South Africans but that was apparently not enough for Mzansi Magic.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the decision was made to end the show in April of 2020 after it has been on our screens for 3 seasons.

Fans are not impressed - they are going to miss the show and its characters.

ZAlebs reported that Isithembiso had a viewership of just over 500 000 - a number that Mzansi Magic wasn't happy with.

The show couldn't keep up with shows like eTV's Scandal!, which has a viewership of 6 million.

Angus Gibson, one of Bomb Productions' executives, confirmed the cancellation.

"Yes, I can confirm that the current season will not be renewed for further seasons. Viewers can expect memorable storytelling in these remaining six months."
