- The 2016 Idols SA winner, Noma Khumalo, is reportedly in a rather dark place, financially speaking
- It came to light that her album, Joy, has seen a huge price drop recently
- The album's price dropped to only R5
Things are heating up on Idols SA as the title is in sight, and as fans hope their faves will win, they also remember previous winners.
It has long been debated whether winning the singing competition is really as awesome as it should be. Many winners have faded away over the years while runners-up managed to build careers for themselves.
With that said, the 2016 Idols winner, Noma Khumalo recently had people talking when it came to light that she walked away from her record label, Gallo.
On top of that, her album, Joy, also saw a massive price drop. According to ZAlebs, the selling price went from R109,90 to just R5.
A photo of the album's price was shared on social media, and people were quite saddened by the fact that things seem to have gone downward for the singer.
There are also rumours that Noma is battling with depression as her music career hasn't gone as stellar as was hoped.
However, Briefly.co.za could not confirm that there is any truth to the rumours.
When looking at the singer's Instagram page, she seems to be doing alright despite any struggles she may be facing.
