Mosimane said, “When a boy that comes from your family enters the Santiago Bernabéu to play against Ramos and Varane‚ it becomes a little bit emotional."

SowetanLIVE reported that Sundowns has a strong connection with Real Madrid as Mosimane often shows the players video clips of how things are done at the European super club.

Mosimane revealed that Tau's success will hopefully serve to inspire other young players that it is possible for them to achieve as well.

He said, “I hope it will serve as an inspiration to younger ones in the team like Lebohang Maboe and Matjeka Madisha to believe that it is possible."

Mosimane added that Tau played against Barcelona last year, so it should not have been unthinkable that he could play and perform against Real Madrid.
