Zlatan Ibrahimovic celebrates 38th birthday with £1.4m Ferrari Monza

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, former Paris Saint Germaine and Barcelona superstar, recently clocked 38th and the swede celebrated the special day with a £1.4 million Ferrari Monza SP2.

The striker has been outstanding having scored about 540 goals for club and country in a career span of close to two decades.

According to SunSport, Ibrahimovic is one of the 499 people who have acquired the exclusive and expensive Italian sports car.

The publication further states that the machine, which was manufactured last year has the capacity to run about 0-60mph in around 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 186 miles-per-hour.

Ibrahimovic, while sharing the picture of his recently acquired car added a caption saying: "Happy Birthday to Zlatan" in the comment section.

Despite advancing in age in his illustrious career, the former Manchester United striker does not seem to be slowing down with his goals scoring ability.

He has scored 51 goals in 55 matches for his Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy since he joined them in 2018.

Meanwhile, SunSport reports that he has scored a staggering 300 goals since he turned 30 on October 3, 2011 - averaging 0.81 goals in 371 matches in the period under review.

Meanwhile, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine doctors are however hoping to study Ibrahimovic's physique after hanging his boots.

"His knee is so strong that the doctors said they had never seen anything like it," Zlatan's agent, Mino Raiola, told Swedish newspaper Expressen.

"He has a knee that it is almost impossible for a football player with a 20-year career to have. It was quite clean, there was no harm in it.

"Zlatan is so strong that the doctor wants him back after his career to research on him. They work on the world's best research institutions for the knees and ligaments.

"They research a lot on the subject and that is why they are better than everyone else, and doctors want back Zlatan to do research on him.

"So after Zlatan's career, we will go back and open him up again to do research on his ligaments."

Sportbible report that the Swede legend suffered a career-threatening knee ligament damage against Anderlecht in 2016 with doctors unsure the extent the injury.

He has however moved on from that set back to scoring wholesome number of goals for LA Galaxy in the United States.
