- AKA has shown he's not about to let negative people have their say without him clapping back
- The rapper stated that it doesn't matter what genre music is, as long as it is making waves on SA charts
- A tweep said he misses the way music was in 2013 and AKA made it clear how he feels about clinging to the past
AKA is not one to let himself really be defined by one genre of music. Instead, it's about the music and how fans can enjoy it.
He's often collabing with musos from other genres, and showing his diversity.
Taking to social media, AKA said there is no need to compare amapiano music and hip-hop, all that matters is that the music is good.
All this Piano vs Hip Hop talk is dumb. I don’t care what genre it is ... as long as it’s South African music punishing South African charts, who cares bro ...
However, one tweep didn't agree, and said he misses how music used to be in 2013.
The minute hip hop goes back to where it was before 2013, back when you were still colored you’ll start caring.
This didn't sit so well with AKA, who reacted quite harshly, calling the social media user a loser for wanting to go back to years gone by.
