A police officer, Sabelo Mlangeni, and his army wife have inspired social media users across South Africa.

On Saturday, Sabelo Mlangeni took to Facebook group #ImStaying to share the inspiring story of him and his wife.

Mlangeni, who works for the South African Police Service, is married to a woman in the army and they have been working together to make SA a better place within their respective careers.

The post read:

"Until a little girl can play in the street and the park without fear again. Until our women are and feel safe... Me and my wife ain't quitting yet!"
