Two young men are being lauded via social media after news of their kindness went viral.

They were driving their bread truck down the highway when they noticed a woman stuck on the side of the road.

Even though the weather was terrible, they decided to make a U-turn to assist the damsel in distress.

The two men changed her tyre for her in the pouring rain and ensured that she got back safely onto the road.

Andre Hayward witnessed the encounter and shared the story via the #ImStaying Facebook group.

Hayward described it as a true South African experience where race is not a factor to help those in need.

Briefly.co.za noted the huge positive impact the post had as it attracted a whopping 17 000 likes.
