Vatiswa Ndara, a local actress known for her role in iGazi, has caused quite a scene with her open letter to Arts & Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa.
In her 6-page letter, Vatiswa made claims of exploitation by Ferguson Films and also explained that she would not be returning to the show, in which she had a lead role.
The minister has acknowledged the letter that she sent to him and thanked Ndara for taking the time to write to him.

Meanwhile, TimesLIVE has reported that the owners of Ferguson Films, Connie and Shona Ferguson, are considering taking legal action against the actress.
Brendan de Kocker from De Kocker Attorneys said:
"We are considering legal action against the author of the letter and we are not going to answer any further questions at this time."
Briefly.co.za gathered that Connie chose to reserve her right not to comment.
