- She accused Ferguson Films of mistreating their actors in a scathing open letter
- Since she shared the letter, South Africans have been supporting her with #IstandWithVatiswa
Vatiswa Ndara penned an open letter about Ferguson Films exploitation. The actress caused quite an upset when she made allegations of mistreatment by Connie and Shona Ferguson, the owners of Ferguson Films.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that the Fergusons are now considering taking legal action against Vatiswa.
Since news broke about Vatiswa's letter, more and more South Africans have decided to stand behind her and give her support as she speaks up.
Famous names such as actress Kgomotso Christopher and NaakMusiQ have shared tweets with the hashtag, #IstandWithVatiswa, in solidarity with the actress and her attempt at revealing the uglier side of the entertainment industry.
It's clear that the country is ready to help artists stand up for their rights and end exploitation by the big-shots.
Of course, the Fergusons are innocent until proven guilty - it's not confirmed yet that the accusations made against them and their company are indeed true.
