A young white woman, named Jaylene Guest, had made waves ever since she decided to get braids done to celebrate Heritage Day.
Following the change of hairstyle, many people of different ages and races have heaped praise on her for the new look.
Jaylene took to Facebook to share her experience and her post has had a substantial impact.
She expressed that she has a new-found respect for African girls and women who endure the painful experience of having braids inserted.
