Video shows quantum group stealing bakkie spare tyre and upsets Mzansi

- A video revealed the modus operandi of a group of thugs that steal spare wheels from bakkies

South Africa has sadly become notorious for its high crime rate and it seems a new specialised group of thieves has emerged.

A video shared via social media reveals their modus operandi when they steal spare wheels from bakkies.

In the video, two men can be seen emerging from a Toyota Quantum minibus while a third man stands and surveys the area.

The two men remove the wheel from the bakkie within a few seconds and place it in the minibus.

Although the video is cut short, it seems as though one of them proceeds to go under another bakkie to repeat the same procedure.

The video was shared via the South Africa Live Facebook page and Briefly.co.za observed the reaction from angry South Africans.

Siyabonga Blessing Ntuli responded, "I remember when they stole my Bantam spare wheel about 6 years ago, I struggled to get another and when I finally got it, it was so expensive."
Alexander Blows commented, "In their blood. It cost me R7000 to replace my spare wheel on a Nissan Navara."
Swart Printa said, "Crime is so specialised in south africa we also have department of spare wheels."
Mauro Marengo added, "To replace that Tyre and rim cost R8000 it has happened to me twice I hope they get a cramp in their...... that they can’t walk for a month."
