On Sunday, a video was shared on Facebook by a woman, Andrea Bradley, of her father's funeral.

Bradley, who resides in Ireland, revealed her dad, whom she said was always a "prankster", recorded himself before his death.

His friends and family were mourning his death when they heard his voice coming from a coffin, Briefly.co.za learned.

He's heard saying: "'Let me out, it's f***ing dark in here!"

The video was captioned:

"My dad's dying wish, always the prankster, you got them good Poppabear and gave us all a laugh just when we needed it!! I will love you forever. #shayslastlaugh"

We took a look at some of the comments the video generated:

Jason O'Neill commented: "OMG I just cried laughing, that’s your dad too right, love to you, Anne and family."
Karen Oakes wrote: "So sorry for your loss, had to come into your page and say what a legendary man. May he continue to make every laugh in Heaven. This is the best thing I've ever seen, RIP, amazing this."
