A woman who does the 'man's job' of mechanic is pushing boundaries and proving a point.

A video shows the way she expertly handles the vehicle repair she is working on and had viewers impressed.

The video was originally shared on Facebook by Cooksee Lee. It caught the attention of many social media users who admired her abilities.

She also looks happy and seems to be enjoying her work. One Facebook user, Thembani Maphalla, even commented about it saying:

"Looool! Waphapha hle. Mara keep it up with your passion."

Jaffar Juma Ally said:

"Nice."

A Briefly.co.za reader reached out to gush about the mechanic and the service she offers. Nisa Kimmy said the mechanic is from Fine Town, south of Johannesburg.

"She's gifted in assembling of any engine petrol/diesel, automatic and manual gearbox as well as suspension"

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Isaac Boshomane, a car mechanic based in Soshanguve in Pretoria, was keen to create employment opportunities for young people in his community.

His business, Kgabo Cars, creates jobs for the unemployed in his area. Boshomane provides theoretical and practical training to youths.

This helps them qualify as mechanics and empowers them to get jobs.
