A differently-abled woman has shared her story on social media. She spoke about how it was not easy growing up because the community had labelled her as different. Even some family members contributed to singling her out.
Pulane Rakometsi shared her sad story on the Facebook group "ImStaying". She thanked her parents for being supportive of her through the hardest times. She has now risen above her circumstances and embraces life to the fullest. The lady hopes to make a documentary showing the everyday happenings in her life.
Social media users had kind and encouraging words for her. Facebook user Monica Thebus Abrahams said:
"You are an amazing young woman, God has so much in store for you! Thank you, for not allowing other people's negativity defined your bright future!"
