A Twitter user, @JustTlou_, posted snaps of a young man in front of a car, which he reportedly built himself.
The tweep called on South Africans to share the young man's story with the hope of someone noticing who could nurture his talent.
Briefly.co.za gathered the teen is a Grade 10 learner at the Tlou Matome Secondary School in Maleboho West Circuit, from Ga-Rammutla.
He reportedly built the petrol-operated car by himself.

According to another tweep, @Thabang_Small1, the brilliant young man uses a generator as an engine to power the car.
South Africans were impressed by the high school pupil's talent and they applauded him in the comment section.
Thabiso, who goes by the Twitter handle @thabisoletoki, commented:
"We deserve a car that's made in SA and this young man might be the solution."
Twitter user, @Laughter_Ngoash, added:
"Pure talent, if can just ignore all negativity and focus. So proud of him."
Another social media user, @Mzwakhe83066585, wrote:
"So much creativity and I think the government should help this boy to further his studies."
