Fans go cray over rapper, Shane Eagle’s new mixtape, #darkmoonflower

Mzansi rapper, Shane Eagle, has been causing a stir on social media with his new track, Black.

He took to Twitter earlier this week to announce that he was dropping his new track along with its music video from his upcoming mixtape, Dark Moon Flower.

Shane then thanked fans for their patience and explained that his mixtape featured some of his favourite artists from around the globe.

Some of the favourites on the mixtape included Mzansi’s Nasty C, Santi, Bas, Lute and Kota The Friend, and PatricKxxLee, J-Tek, Resarn, Caleborate and TheMind.

Judging from the responses on Twitter, Shane’s sleepless nights working on the project have paid off. His news song has been a trending topic on Twitter since Wednesday morning, but fans were even more excited when they saw the mixtape’s dark, stormy and mystical cover art.

Dark Moon Flower is the rapper’s third project. His debut album was Yellow which was released in 2017, and his second album was , which was released in December last year.

About a week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Shane Eagle and Nasty C teamed up on a track called Paris and it is absolute power! When the top dogs of Mzansi hip-hop collab, best believe you gon’ get an eargasm.

It was just last week that Shane dropped the highly-anticipated tracklist for his upcoming album, and when fans saw Nasty C and he had mixed something up, they lost their minds.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the track dropped today and let’s just say that Shane and Nasty C came through! With Shane and Nasty C’s lyrical greatness combined into one track, you can only imagine the litness that they created.

Paris starts off with Shane rapping about his rise to fame and then Nasty C comes in with the fire, rapping about the mad love he has for his fans; it's next level!
