A Durban taxi driver has come forward to expose Babe Wodumo and her sister, Nondumiso Simelane, for allegedly not paying their taxi fares.

According to the Daily Sun, the driver - whose name is Siboniso Ngcobo - said he was hired by Babes and her sister/manager for two trips, but they never paid him.

Siboniso said he had driven them from Westville, Durban to an event hosted by Dladla Mshunqisi at Wiseman’s Car Wash in KwaMashu last Tuesday, but when they arrived, Babes refused to get out of the car and instead they drove to another destination.

“She [Babes Wodumo] complained she wasn’t wearing make-up and her nails weren’t done. They asked me to drive them to Mayville instead.
“They said they didn’t have cash on them. They even asked me to lend them R50 for newspapers and groceries,” said Siboniso.

The taxi driver then claimed that Nondumiso asked him to drive them to Ushaka Marine World later that day and promised to pay him the next day.

“When I called Nodumiso last Wednesday asking for payment, she promised to do it that day. They had not paid by the next day, and when I tried to contact them again, they didn’t pick up the phone or reply to messages,” said the taxi driver.

Siboniso told the publication that the Simelane sisters owed him R500 for the trips plus the R50 which they borrowed from him.

Unfortunately, when the Daily Sun tried to contact the sisters for comment, they were not available. Their cellphones rang unanswered.

Meanwhile, about a month ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Babes Wodumo left social media users in disbelief when she announced on Twitter that she had left her 'abusive' relationship and was free of 'that controlling monster'. People were unsure what to believe - she had been hacked so many times already.

Babes Wodumo had made an unexpected announcement on her Twitter account: she dumped her on-off bae, Mampintsha. After all the drama between the two, it's likely that no one blamed her for breaking up with the man. That is, if she really did.

Babes is notoriously known for getting 'hacked' every other day and the 'hackers' usually say things she claims she'd never utter.

Was this just another case of 'I got hacked' or was it a PR stunt? Peeps didn't know what to think, and few actually believed the tweet was legit.
