- Fatima Ayob Bhamjee's two-month-old daughter started acting up while they were eating breakfast
- Their water and another waitress came to the rescue and the couple could enjoy their meal
A mother, Fatima Ayob Bhamjee, and her husband were having breakfast at the Pensacola Spur in Fordsburg.
Taking to the Facebook group #ImStaying, Bhamjee explained her two-month-old daughter started acting up but the staff came to their rescue.
"When our main meals arrived, my two-month-old daughter started acting up and wouldn’t let us eat without screaming. My husband held my daughter while I started eating and once I was done he would then eat."
However, their waiter, Innocent, called a co-worker, Patience, who offered to take the little girl so that they could eat.
"I was so surprised and very thankful at the gesture. She walked around the store and pacified my baby while we ate. She kept my baby the whole time while we ate just so that we could eat our meal together as husband and wife."
The grateful mom ended the post by writing:
"I am truly grateful for the hospitality and compassion shown to us. Great great customer service and experience. Nothing beats being made welcome and being treated with respect and love!"
