Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp has already had a huge impact at his football club as he guided the club to a historic UEFA Champions League title last season.
The Reds mentor is also having a sizeable impact in Cape Town due to the generosity shows towards a soccer charity.
Klopp made news headlines when he donated an eye-watering £10 000 (R191 309,56) to the "Joy is Round" initiative.
The project is run by the Hout Bay United Football Community (HBUFC) in aid of raising money to boost grassroots football.
Klopp is a patron of the soccer club and even flew down to do a talk there in 2017.
Sports24 reported that the co-founder of the club, Jeremy Elson, heaped praise on the Reds mentor.
Elson said, "He spoke for over two hours in total, everyone was captivated by him. The most amazing thing about him is how humble he is."
Klopp shared the news of his donation and called for others to support the noble cause.
Briefly.co.za noted the positive reaction via social media.
