Kaizer Chiefs duo Kearyn Baccus and Daniel Cardoso have enjoyed an impressive start to the season in line with the team's superb form.
As a result, the pair feel that Chiefs have the quality to challenge on all fronts, starting with the Telkom Knockout.
Midfielder Baccus has already been compared with the legendary Doctor Khumalo and he seemed extra confident.
Speaking to the club website, Baccus said: "We would like to win everything on offer this season. We will work hard to achieve this dream.”
Baccus opened his account when scored the winner against Cape Town City when the teams met in the league a few weeks ago.
Chiefs now face the same foe on Saturday as City have been drawn against the Amakhosi.
Defender Daniel Cardoso also has good memories from that match in Cape Town after scoring as well, is looking forward to the encounter.
Cardoso said, “The 12th man is key for any team and we trust that the supporters will purchase their tickets early and get behind us."
Briefly.co.za gathered that the Glamour Boys have managed to win the competition a record 13 times since its inception.
Their last cup triumph occured in 2010 and Cardoso and Baccus will be desperate to break the trophy drought.
