A woman has taken to social media to gush about the love of her life and their beautiful family. She praised the laws of South Africa for making it possible for people of any race and gender to legally tie the knot.

Patience Mufamadi-Mogashwa posted a beautiful picture with her partner, Naledi, on the "ImStaying" Facebook group. She said she enjoyed the freedom to marry the love of her life and start a family.

The smitten woman went on to say that their journey was not an easy one. They faced rejection from family and even harassment. She spoke about overcoming mental breakdowns and almost taking her own life. But they pushed through and have now found happiness.

"It wasn't easy, trust me. Now I have the family I've always dreamt of with the woman who I absolutely love and adore and am crazy for."

The couple have been together for 10 years and married for four. They have a beautiful son.
