The Telkom Knockout Cup is full of excitement and this weekends games were no exception seeing the Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows fight their way through to the next round.
Briefly.co.za learned that the Kaizer Chiefs game against Cape Town City saw an astounded five yellow cards in the first half, as well as two injury substitutions, were made during the match.
However, that was not the end to the drama, with the match running at 120-minutes with a penalty shootout needed to break the 1-all deadlock.
The Golden Arrows narrowly secured victory when they managed to snatch a win with a goal in the dying minutes of extra time according to sabcnews.com.
The Telkom Knockout Cup is still wide open with strong teams vying for a win. The last eight teams will soon be decided and the Chiefs and Arrows will know who they are up against.
