DJ Maphorisa has been doing amazing in his career but he still gets negative vibes from the public.

TimesLIVE reported the DJ announced that his upcoming new album, Scorpion Kings 2, would feature even hotter collaborations than the first album.

This did not sit right with everyone as one social media users accused him of being opportunistic.

The tweep accused Maphorisa of never working with unknown artists, but he responded with laughter.

This isn't the first time Maphorisa has been criticised - a few months ago he was accused of riding on Kabza De Small's fame.

Here's what he had to say about that:

"Everyone wants a piece of Scorpion Kings. Haters want it down on platforms. Guys are jealous, saying I am using Kabza. Why all this hate while everyone loves this project? Since Kabza started working with me, has he ever missed a gig? So we don't deserve it?" reported earlier that Maphorisa isn't bothered by the things people say about him and what he does.

He also feels that other DJs have no love for him, but says he doesn't care. He's proud of his work and sees himself as a 'Jack of all trades' - people can be as jealous as they want to be.
