Local actor, Andile Gumbi, is fighting for his life after he suffered a heart attack while working in Isreal.
The actor was admitted to Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, according to ZAlebs, and he was resuscitated but is now in a coma.
The Shaare Zedek Medical Center is a major hospital in Jerusalem and the best of care is assured.
Andile, a former Isibaya actor, was working on Daniel The Musical, a theatre production in which he plays the role of King Nebu.
Briefly.co.za gathered that production executives from have released a statement.
"Andile's condition is critical as he suddenly had a heart attack on Tuesday. We are confident that he'll receive the best medical care at the esteemed Shaare Zedek.''
It is reported that Andile's wife will now travel to Israel so she can be with her 36-year-old husband.
