Mzansi rapper, Cassper Nyovest, took to social media to share a shout-out to fellow African artist, Wizkid, on selling out the O2 Arena in London recently.

According to SA Hip Hop magazine, Wizkid has become Africa’s poster boy when it comes to music. He has had immense success on the international scene following his performances in several different countries. Wizkid’s latest achievement was selling out the O2 Arena in London for the second time.

It is believed that this stunt will go down in history as Wizkid is the first African artist to sell the stadium out twice and hold the record for most performances at the venue for an African artist. London’s O2 Arena holds approximately 20 000 people.

It was reported that Cassper Nyovest made plans to hold his own concert at the arena, which unfortunately he had to cancel.

After Wizkid’s Starboyfest, Mufasa took to Twitter to congratulate Wizkid on his massive achievement.

"Congrats on shutting down O2 and London as a while @wizkidayo. Keep at it bro!!!"
