- Two men were caught on video arguing at a McDonald's drive-through
- The one man allegedly called the other an "ape"
- The slur resulted in the man getting slapped by the furious stranger
On Saturday, a video was shared on social media showing a confrontation between two men at a McDonald's drive-through in Craighall.
One of the men, who is seated in the car at the start of the video, allegedly calls the other one an ape.
The other man did not take kindly to the insult and he ended up swearing at the motorist, who made motions to get out of his car.
Briefly.co.za gathered the video then shows the man slapping the motorist. The video was shared on Twitter by a tweep who is identified as @_Mandla_.
Social media users were quick to justify the man slapping the motorist, saying that racists deserve to get punished.
A tweep, didierkapongo, commented:
"I love that way of correcting someone. I hate insults especially when it’s racial, don’t compare me to an animal or anything else."
Hildah Kilani, who goes by the Twitter handle @cpla_Msskila, wrote:
"Listen I don't condone violence But when I do, this is the type of action I want to see. Set him straight, #NeverAgain."
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported another video surfaced online showing a woman allegedly getting slapped onboard a plane.
The lady is the wife of a former Springboks player.
