Percy Tau's side, Club Brugge, are set for a crunch clash with Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League this week.

Ahead of the key battle, Tau's former coach, Luka Elsner, has heaped praise on him.

The Bafana Bafana star has made a name for himself in Europe this season following his exploits in Belgium and the rest of Europe.

According to Elsner, Tau is getting exactly what he deserves based on the hard work he puts into training and matches.

Elsner, who previously coached Royal Saint Union Gilloise last season, has marvelled at Tau's progression.

Elsner said, "There is really a joy when you see him evolve like this. He is an adorable boy and an extremely talented player."

KickOff.com reported that Elsner is not surprised by Tau's success and hopes he's career soars to even greater heights.

Elsner currently coaches Amiens in France, which is where Bongani Zungu currently plays.

Zungu, a Bafana teammate of Tau, is well aware of the threat posed by PSG.

Zungu said, "As soon as they are concerned, concentrated and competitive, it becomes very complicated for all teams to navigate against them."

However, Briefly.co.za understands that Zungu feels the signs are promising based on Brugge's performance against Real Madrid a few weeks ago.
