A mother shared a curious story about how her daughter instantly connected with a stranger. They were in hospital to visit the woman's father when they were greeted by a friendly woman. It seems her 2-year-old daughter felt a connection to the stranger because she gave her a hug and jumped on her lap. Social media users appreciated the odd but sweet story.

Hanlie Ninow shared the story on the Facebook group 'ImStaying'. She and her daughter went to visit her dad at Muelmed Hospital in Pretoria. They were greeted by a woman she described as having a "friendly face". Instantly her young daughter gave the lady a hug and climb on her lap.
