American radio personality, Charlamagne tha god, spoke out about how Mzansi’s Bonang Matheba is said to be more successful than most American personality doing the same thing as our Queen B. knows that Bonang went international, but a viral video clip which was shared on Bonang’s fan page, proved just how major her brand has become.

Charlamagne said in the video clip: “When you see Bonang, Bonang is like the… I don’t wanna say Kim Kardashian, but she got her own reality show, she got her own champagne, she’s on the cover of all the magazines in Africa, the GQ’s and all of that. When you go to her gram [Instagram] she is living. I’m like they doing better than most people here.”

When the video landed on Bonang’s timeline, her response was simple and modest. She tweeted: “Arg. Thank you @cthagod.”

Bonang is more than just gigging abroad, she has also made a global impact on many different aspects.
