- Chippa Mpengesi has made a gogo's dreams come true
- The Chippa United boss used his own money to build the elderly lady a house
- The moment the 83-year-old received her home was caught on camera
On Tuesday, Chippa Mpengesi, Xolani Sotashe and deputy Human Settlements Minister Pam Tshwete handed over a new house to an 83-year-old gogo.
Maria Lungana could not hold back the tears as the Chippa United boss handed her the keys to her own crib.
Mpengesi said he knows how difficult it is living in a shack and was touched by Lungana's story. Sotashe took to Facebook to share photos and a video of the gogo receiving her new home.
It's not the first time Mpengesi has used his own money to give South Africans a proper roof over their heads. Briefly.co.za previously reported he donated a house to a struggling family hours after sacking Clinton Larsen as the Chippa United head coach.
Mpengesi added that he plans to continue with his acts of kindness by building houses all over Mzansi.
Daily Sun reported Mpengesi hopes to built at least 10 houses in every province.
