- Selena Gomez's fans have been speculating that her new song, Lose You To Love Me, is about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber
- The two singers were in an on-again, off-again relationship for years before calling it quits for good in May last year
- Bieber is now married to Hailey Baldwin, daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin
The lyrics to the song include the words, "I needed to lose you to find me, the dancing was killing me softly. I needed to lose you to love me.”
Gomez dropped the video for the track on YouTube two days ago and promoted it on her social media accounts.
Some fans speculated that the haunting video is Gomez's way of saying a final goodbye to Bieber.
With lyrics like, "In two months you replaced us, like it was easy. Made me think I deserved it, in the thick of healing,” it is not hard to see why.
The song ends with the words, “And now the chapter is closed, and now it’s goodbye, it’s goodbye for us.”
Despite the somewhat sad lyrics, the song has been received extremely well and fans filled social media with congratulatory messages for Gomez.
