- Billiat feels he doesn't owe Sundowns any favours and will go all out to secure victory for the Amakhosi
Kaizer Chiefs will travel to face Mamelodi Sundowns in a huge top of the table clash over the weekend.
Chiefs have enjoyed a wonderful start to the season as they top the Premier Soccer League table.
However, the Brazilians will leapfrog them should they defeat the Soweto Giants in the crunch encounter.
One man who knows about life on both sides of the fence is Khama Billiat.
The Chiefs striker made a name for himself at Sundowns and is looking forward to facing his former team.
The Zimbabwean was in terrific form and inspired Chiefs to victory over the Brazilians in the Shell Helix Ultra Cup friendly more than a week ago.
KickOff.com reported that Billiat played down his influence and credited the team instead.
Billiat said, "Everyone worked hard as you saw, and on the day, everyone tried to be on their best form.”
Billiat is aware of the importance of Sunday's result and is in bullish mood heading into the fixture.
He said, “Do I owe them? No, I don’t owe them. I don’t want to say I was born ready, but I just love playing football and when I get injured, I get so worried.”
