Earlier this week, a video was shared by the Intelligence Bureau SA on Facebook showing thugs targetting a fast-food restaurant.

According to the description, the Kwathema Chicken Licken was robbed by a group of armed men last week Friday.

The footage shows the men entering the restaurant just after 9pm the night before, taking everyone hostage and forcing them to the back of the store.

One of the thugs ransacks a terrified customer lying on the ground, even stealing the shoes off his feet. It was not revealed what or how much was stolen, nor has any information on the suspects and arrests been given.

The Chicken Licken outlet is not the first fast-food restaurant by far to suffer at the hands of criminals. Briefly.co.za previously reported that a McDonalds in Bedfordview was robbed by armed assailants.

A video of the incident was shared online and Mzansi was left shaken by the footage.
