- Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela has waxed lyrical about the players at Polokwane City
- Komphela admires the fact that their squad has remained the same for the past four years
- The Arrows mentor is also hoping for his team to make the final of the Telkom Knockout along with Maritzburg United
Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela is widely regarded as one of the most respectful coaches in the Premier Soccer League.
He was even more complimentary of his team's next opponent in the PSL, Polokwane City.
Arrows already did the business last week when they secured a 1-0 victory over the same opponent in the Telkom Knockout.
However, Komphela has nothing but admiration for Rise and Shine's players as he marvelled at their consistency and loyalty.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the Arrows mentor is impressed by the fact that City have retained the same squad of players for four years.
Komphela said, “I wish one day I can have a team of Magubane, Conco, Sibiya and Mathenjwa, and hit the same level.”
Daily Sun reported that Komphela balanced his comments by praising his own players as he labelled them as being massively talented.
Komphela also revealed that he'd dearly love a KwaZulu Natal themed final in the Telkom Knockout.
The Arrows tactician asked, “Can you imagine the final between Maritzburg and Arrows?"
Komphela added, "Dreams do come true.”
