On Sunday, the Springboks narrowly beat the Welsh side with 19-16. However, the close game had South Africans biting their nails.

A woman filmed her hubby's reaction to the final minutes of the game and posted it to Mammas 24/7's Facebook page.

The post was captioned:

"Every South African today! Well done Springboks. (My husband might divorce me over this video)."

Since it was shared on Facebook on Sunday afternoon, the video managed to gather over 41 000 views.

Many South Africans related to Cronje's video, adding the game had them on the edge of their seats as well.

Christina Matsambire commented:

"So true, by the time we reach Friday, ooh God, I need to be near the ER indeed."

Rene Malcolm Sturrock added:

"Every South African! We are all so proud."

Alastair Adonis wrote:

"That was the situation across most households earlier."

Rudian Charles said:

"That was literally me when we got the penalty with seconds remaining."

After the Boks win on Sunday, the festive spirit of South Africans was dampened a bit when two ministers spotted an apartheid flag around the shoulders of a man at the game.

However, it turns out that Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina and Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi were wrong.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Panyaza Lesufi's apology to the Springbok fans he thought were holding the old flag has been accepted.
