Intruder jumps into grasp of home owner's dogs, video goes viral

- A man tried to break into a Gansbaai home but he ended up on the roof

- The alleged intruder jumped off the roof and was met by two dogs

On Monday, a housebreaking gone wrong was caught on video. The clip was posted on Twitter by Yusuf Abramjee, who revealed it happened in Gansbaai, Western Cape.

The alleged intruder is seen on the roof, appearing to try and evade a man chasing him. In an attempt to flee, the thug jumps off the roof and is met by two dogs.

The dogs immediately attack him and he struggles to fight them off. By the end of the video, the dogs leave the incapacitated man on the ground and another resident continues to detain him.

Social media users applauded the dogs for taking down the thug.

Zama van de Mzilikazi, who goes by the Twitter handle @Zama30162777, commented:

"I don't like keeping dogs but for what I'm seeing, I love them. Can't express my delight."

Another tweep, @YVawda, added:

"Those dogs did a good job!" reported on Monday that a motorcyclist opened fire on a suspected robber. A video of the incident was shared online and social media users dubbed the man 'Mzansi's John Wick'.
