Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Tito Mboweni announced on Twitter that he's changing his manner of interacting online.

The decision follows in the wake of a scandal concerning a love triangle between the minister, Gwede Mantashe and a 'slay queen'.

"After a long thought process, I have decided not to do any original tweets any more. I might, just might, retweet (not endorsements). I came to the conclusion that Twitter is no longer about its original purpose: ie to create a networked society. It is now an abusive platform."

2. Finance minister defends Afrikaans as a medium of teaching

3. A tribute to "Princess" Sho Madjozi

4. Mboweni reacts to tweeps' jokes about him cooking with tinned fish

5. A lovely photo of Mboweni and his son

We're certainly going to miss the minister's witty posts on Twitter. Mboweni and Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe were caught in a scandal after a slay queen allegedly spilt the tea on a love triangle.

Briefly.co.za reported Lerato Makgatho has described her intimate experience with the married Mantashe, lauding him as a 'tiger in bed', in comparison to Mboweni, who allegedly wanted to switch off the lights and 'cover ourselves' when it came to doing the deed.
