A woman has shared beautiful pictures of an interracial wedding she attended. The ceremony was a true representation of South Africa with a colourful display of different races and cultures.
MaDlamini Nonhlekimi shared the pictures in the 'ImStaying' Facebook group. She captioned the beautiful images with:
"Rainbow Nation Wedding"
Her post got over 1 000 reactions on the social media platform and nearly 200 comments. Facebook user Natasha Daphne Scott said:
"I absolutely love this... nothing can compare to this type of love and harmony... A girl can dream."
Rosanna Ferro said:
"I do not want to sound rude or anything but seriously folks we need to stop seeing colour. We need to start seeing people as people and we should be saying congratulations to this couple. This is how we start eliminating the race issue."
Margie Toens said:
"Just be happy for what they have - yes, the bride's family is not there..."
Rosinne Conn said:
"There could be a host of reasons why there are no family-of-the-bride pictures. One also should be careful to post pictures of people without their consent. Let it be."
Hazel Claassen said:
"No need for the bride's family to be there. Maybe there are reasons behind it but it's irrelevant. I'm looking at this beautiful happy couple! Lovely wedding!"
