Star comedian Kevin Hart has every reason to be thankful after surviving a near-fatal accident on 1 September. Hart recently spoke up for the first time since the accident that left his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda car totalled.

According to reports, 40-year-old Hart was in the vehicle with his driver when the car crashed along Cold Canyon Road onto Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles County, California. He barely escaped with his life and suffered major injuries to the back.

In a recent post shared on his Instagram, Hart showed gruelling episodes from his physical therapy as he nurses himself back to good health and functionality. The comedian has thanked fans , friends, colleagues and family for sending in good wishes and prayers as he gradually recovers.

Speaking in an interview on how much effect the tragic accident had on him, the comedian stated: "After my accident I see things differently, I see life from a whole new perspective. My appreciation for life is through the roof. I'm thankful for my family, my friends."

Recall that the comedian's fans all over the world prayed that he would be alright after it was reported he sustained serious back injuries.
