Actress, producer and businesswoman, Connie Ferguson, joined the handful of Mzansi celebs who celebrated the American holiday, Halloween on Thursday, 31 October.

ZAlebs reported that Ayanda Thabethe trended on social media for doing a superb job of channeling Beyonce. However, the focus soon changed after Sarah Langa’s comment upset the Beyhive, however fans still loved Ayanda’s Halloween costume.

But it was Mzansi’s Connie Ferguson who really gave Mzansi something to laugh about on Halloween. She showed of her playful side when she arrived on the set of The Queen as Jerry Maake – the character played by her real-life hubby, Shona Ferguson.

Connie shared a few videos and snaps on Instagram and wrote: “Happy Halloween everybody! #robocop #jerrymaake #otsamaelagontena #nnfafatshe @ferguson_films.”

Besides the uniform and briefcase being on point, it was Connie’s walk that stole the show. Jerry’s character has a stiff walk, almost like Robocopesque and the funniest grin ever. Connie nailed the look.

About two weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Connie Ferguson has shown that nothing can bring her down - not even the strongest winds.

The actress and her husband, Shona, have been the talk of the town since fellow actress, Vatiswa Ndara, wrote an open letter claiming they exploited her.

Vatiswa denied that she targeted the family on purpose, but the damage was done - people were looking down on the Fergusons.

However, that's not keeping Connie low - she's still feeling positive and happy.
