- Nasty C was nominated for the Best Africa Act Award at the 2019 MTV EMA Awards
- However, Nigeria's Burna Boy snatched up the award on 3 November
- It's been a big year for both artists and Nasty has other achievements and awards to be proud of
Burna Boy is considered one of Africa's biggest artists and it's no wonder he bagged himself the Best Africa Act Award at the international awards ceremony, the 2019 MTV EMA Awards.
South Africa's Nasty C was also nominated, along with Prince Kaybee, Teni, Harmonize and Toofan. Although this would have been a big win for Nasty, he has many other awards that he can be proud of.
On top of that, he bagged Best Produced Album of the Year for the 2019 SAMAs five months ago for his Strings and Bling album
This isn't the first award that the youngster misses out on and it's likely he will react the same way he did when he missed out on the BET Award in the Best International Flow category.
Ghana's Sarkodie won the award and instead of being upset or bitter about it, Nasty congratulated Sarkodie on his win.
