- Rumours abound that actress Terry Pheto is trying to pull a fast one by getting married in secret
- Apparently the stunning Tsotsi leading lady is set to wed next month
- Insiders say that she and her husband-to-be, Masande Peter, have been dating for years
If you missed the fact that Pheto in a serious relationship, let alone engaged, you aren't the only one.
The 38-year-old actress is notoriously private about her love life.
According to Sunday Sun, Pheto and Peter, a Xhosa man who is described as an 'IT mogul', have been dating for several years and got engaged last year.
An insider told the paper that Pheto had postponed her bachelorette party, which was scheduled for yesterday in the Seychelles.
The reason for this is that the jet setting Pheto is stuck in Rome, Italy.
The source said, “Everything was going according to plan for the bachelorette until the last minute. She called everybody (to tell them) that she is still stuck in Rome and is postponing the party.
"She said she will let them know when is it happening (sic)."
It seems holding special events abroad is a regular occurrence for this low-key couple as another source confirmed that Masande proposed to Pheto overseas.
It's said Masande bought Pheto a huge diamond ring, but she hardly wears it because she she does not want to attract unnecessary attention,
Don't expect to see pictures of the festivities floating around on social media either as a third insider said there will be cellphones allowed at the venue.
We haven't heard much about Pheto's love life ever since her and Dj Sbu broke up in 2010.
Why is Pheto so secretive, you wonder?
Well, the first source is quoted as answering this question with, "Terry’s been trained by the best and knows how to separate her private life from her professional.
"She’s in a league of her own and keeps her private life away from media. Even on the red carpet you’ll never see her walking abreast Masande.”
We certainly hope we will at least get to see Pheto in her wedding dress as the classic beauty will undoubtedly make a stunning bride.
