Former Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral has made his return to Cape Town. Many are now wondering if he could be the man replacing Benni McCarthy at Cape Town City.

Briefly.co.za reported that McCarthy was fired from Cape Town City in the early hours of Sunday this past weekend. The announcement came after a difficult two-season run. The club had announced its decision to terminate McCarthy's contract after the team only managed to win two out of 18 games.

According to Sport24, the the club appointed assistant coach Vasili Manousakis as caretaker coach but Muhsin's return has rumours flying.
