America's Got Talent runners-up, the Ndlovu Youth Choir, will welcome the Springboks home at the OR Tambo International Airport this afternoon.
The 2019 Rugby World Cup champions are set to arrive at the Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport this evening, Tuesday, 5 November.
According to TshisaLIVE, members of the Springbok squad are set to touch down on SA soil from Japan today and tomorrow.
The Ndlovu Youth Choir confirmed on Twitter that it will be part of the welcoming committee later this evening.
“Join us in giving our World Champions the welcome they deserve.”
Even the OR Tambo International Airport took to Twitter to show its pride and joy in welcoming the Springboks home today.
It was reported that Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, and team coach, Rassie Erasmus, will address the media after their arrival.
Earlier today, Briefly.co.za reported that South Africans in Gauteng who want to give the Springboks the heroes' welcome they deserve have been offered transport.
IOL reported that select Gautrain stations will allow fans donning Springbok attire a free ride to OR Tambo International Airport, where the first few players will be landing on Tuesday.
The lifts will be available from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and again from 6pm to 8pm for passengers with no luggage.
